Youth Ministry

Our Youth Ministry Philosophy

Our Youth Ministry partners with parents to lead our students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our teaching philosophy is summed in these 7 checkpoints–

  • Authentic Faith ‐ You have to trust in Jesus as personal Savior to go to heaven
  • Spiritual Discipline ‐ God designed you to have a personal relationship with Him. His friendship provides fulfillment and security.
  • Moral Boundaries ‐ Purity paves the way to intimacy. You need to learn to protect your body and emotions by honoring God's plan for sex and morality.
  • Healthy Friendships - Your friends determine the direction and quality of your life. Scripture teaches that The companion of fools will suffer harm. Learn to build healthy friendships and avoid unhealthy ones.
  • Wise Choices ‐ In light of past experience and future dreams, you need to ask yourself, What is the wise thing to do?
  • Others First ‐ Scripture teaches that God created you to do good works and that He has given you unique gifts and talents. Discovering those gifts and using them to make an investment in others is a key to lifelong fulfillment.
  • Ultimate Authority ‐ To have authority you must be under authority. The greatest lesson you can learn is how to respect and honor those who are in authority.
Crave – Middle School  Grades 6–8

The Argyle Middle School Ministry is for students in grades 6, 7 & 8.

These are some tough years for kids. They experience pressures of all kinds. Our Middle School environments are designed to help them through these years by understanding how much God loves them, and helping them make good choices.

Middle Schoolers have their own worship and small group time at Crave, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm each Thursday evening in the Family Life Center. We invite parents to check it out with them for a first visit.

If you have questions, email Middle School Pastor Justin Kennedy.

Impact – High School  Grades 9–12

Impact is our worship environment for 9th – 12th grade students. They experience following Jesus Christ in a loving community of students and adults. They are caught up in the wonder of an amazing God, discover their place in His story, and join in His mission to love others and restore His kingdom.

Impact meets each Wednesday night from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the Family Life Center in the rear of Building A.

Impact is a safe place to –

  • Ask questions
  • Experience worship and in-depth teaching
  • Prepare for service and ministry opportunities
  • Enjoy food, fun, and get connected to a small group

All 9th through 12th grade students from any background are welcome.

If you have questions, email High School Pastor David Bass or find him on Sunday… he will be the one in the Adidas that always match his shirt!
